I went here way back in 2010. The place looks like something straight out of Austin Powers – it kind of had a 70s vibe to it. Went with some friends here. Wasn’t really sure what to make of the place. Some people were dancing, but I’m not sure that makes this place good for dancing. Looked like it was better for drinking.

I had my first ever pint here when I was 15! A nervy moment, but a great one. Only been in a couple of time since. I think you know what you are in for when you go here, so it is pointless criticising it. People having a good time. Nice to see, but I won’t be getting involved.

not my kind of place at all, dingy and décor is not great, always seems expensive considering its not the nicest beer, i avoid this as much as possible

A 60’s, 70’s and 80’s bar — not a lot of modern rubbish played here, thank goodness. The DJ always sticks a bit of Slade on when I ask him, so that puts the pub in my good books immediately! Mainly the more mature crowd get in here, but it’s a good atmosphere. Quite entertaining to watch middle-aged guys with beer bellies trying to chat up hen parties of middle-aged women while trying to dance along to ‘Saturday Night Fever’. Plenty of bar staff on too, doesn’t take long to get served and the meals were good. Worth going if you’re into 70’s music. and who isn’t??? :)

this is for the older generation and i have only been here a few times. but the music was rather good and everyone was having a good time. but this bar is not a trendy bar, that goes without saying. but old music is the best.
