Been here once for lunch and it is fairly decent turkish restaurant. The place itself is tucked away up a flight of stairs above a shop on a side street off northumberland street. It is not a place that you would stumble upon, you need to know where you are going. It is a small restaurant, a bit dated in décor, just a few tables in front of an open plan kitchen area. However good choice of food on the menu and reasonably authentic. Staff recommended some dishes and it does feel you are eating in a private dining room.

Came here for lunch with work friends. As there was a large group we ate on the top floor seated on cushions, minus footwear, very authentic. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. Food was ok and selection alike to red meze with comparable prices, although I found the meat overcooked, and not of the same high quality as red meze. The décor is alittle dated and shabby, but ok for a café. I hold red meze in such high regard,(you can’t beat their lunchtime specials) and it is my go to Turkish restaurant that I don’t think this place compares, but seemed popular and the staff were so lovely I want to give higher, but can’t as I don’t think I would return.
