Hotel Indigo

This is a true gem in the centre of Newcastle, friendly staff, clean modern rooms with a complementary mini bar, speakers in the bathroom for music while you shower and a Marco Pierre White restaurant providing superb food and drink!

Newcastle is an amazing city to explore over a weekend and this hotel is very well located just two minutes walk from the main train station. From. the friendly check in toothed well appointed bedroom it is hard to fault this hotel.

Came in late, received a speedy and polite check in, a free room upgrade suggested by the person at reception and a wonderful room. So far so good! Lacks a scenic view but what can you expect. Very we’ll equipped room and this is coming from a VERY picky person that always finds faults in hotels. So far, I’m speechless…

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen… don’t stay here if friends want to visit you, apparently it’s not allowed… they have to come down and see you. A nice hotel ruined by an insane policy! (Was told they would call the police if I went up with my friend staying there, even if we went up together!)
Hopefully it’s a one off «dude is crazy» situation, but it was enough to ensure I’ll never stay there as a corporate choice… a major let down.
