A quiet bar through the day which turns into a crowded, cool place to be, especially on Friday and Saturday night. There is a function room available to hire for free if you give a £40 deposit which is later returned. The drinks are slightly expensive but what do you expect when the Central Station is near by. A premium double and mixer is £3.50 which is also the same price as a house treble. A newly installed Coors ‘Sub Zero’ machine attracts the attention of new customers. There are many regulars and many passing faces. Many people come and go but the barmaids are always friendly and hot. People stopped going out when the smoking ban was introduced however, with a terrace and out door heaters upstairs, this pub can still be enjoyed by the drinkers who want to smoke. There is a juke box and delicious warm Saharas nuts at the bar. Food is served daily and pizzas and toasties can be purchased until close. Or atleast until they run out.
