Being an Asian, it’s kind of mandatory for us to visit the local Chinese restaurant. Oh wait we just like eating :-D. Whilst visiting Norwich, this is the place we settled down for food at ‘pre-evning’. The outside looked pretty modern, as the name, Fusion, would suggest. The interior was nicely furnished, and we were greeted by [I assumed was] the boss. Taking in the baby into consideration, he gave us the choice of where to sit(although it wasn’t that busy to be honest). As customary, we were asked what type of Chinese tea to drink, and we chose our usual ‘gook po’(a Chrysanthemum tea). Still within the hours of serving dim sum, we order our usual, and two plates of meaty rice. The food overall was quite good, and my favourites were the: — Lotus bean paste bun — Char sui bun — Egg tarts — Roasted belly pork with rice I must say that the roast belly pork was very nice, with that extra crispy skin yum! The char sui wasn’t up to standard though, and was quite dry. This, I’m assuming, the cut of meat that was used to cook it, but traditionally and the best char sui should be a fatty cut(for e.g. ). Overall it was a very good experience, and came under £40 for the 4 of us! Chinese food is always great for value and you’ll be leaving with filled stomachs. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
