Tremendous and unusual Indian cuisine in that not only well known culinary delights but also southern Indian specialities. See the web link for more information. We shall certainly be returning again. And again!

In a part of Norwich cleverly labeled«Curry Street», Spice Paradise does it’s thing. I was told by several of my contacts at my customer’s office that it’s the best in Norwich and they proffered as evidence that it’s the only place their Indian colleagues will dine. So on a Wednesday night, several of us cabbed over there. Poppadoms were consumed, starters as well. The Mysorebonda was excellent(potato balls with spices, fried) and I was able to steal a nibble of the«Chicken 65» that was excellent. Unfortunately, my meal was let down by the main. The Chicken Balti just didn’t have the zing that I wanted. A few other people at our rambunctious table said that their meals also weren’t spicy enough. The Cauliflower Bhaji was described by one diner as nearly soup. We skipped dessert. With at least two pint beers each, two poppadoms, a starter and a main, our average ticket was £22, or £25 with tip. I don’t know that I would return. Maybe it was an off night?
