Bermuda Park Big Steak Pub

I was never sure about this pub but recently, since it has been a Fayre and Square pub, it has improved. I’ve been in a few times in the past year or so and the service is always really friendly. The prices are quite reasonable. I took my Mum out for her birthday and we chose meals of the 2 for £10 menu. At that price, we expected tiny plates with not much on them but you do actually get a reasonable amount for the money. The food is always nice but I think they could offer a wider menu choice.

Bermuda Park is in a good location quite close to the motorway and on the same spot as Odeon Cinema, McDonalds, bowling alley, KFC & Frankie & Bennys.
It is a family friendly pub which is what makes pubs like these so popular but unfortunately the quality of the food seems to slip in places like these. The menu is ok, the same as all Big Steak pubs but unfortuantely it never seems to be home cooked fresh food — more microwave frozen foods.
They have a nice seating area outside with a good kids play area and they have a Wacky Warehouse too. This is a good sized indoor play area and serves refreshments which saves you having to keep going into the main bar. The entrance fee is between £2.50 and £3.00 which is about average. Don’t forget to take the kids socks — last time we went was in the summer with 4 children in tow. They all had flip flops on so were not allowed in unless we purchased Wacky Warehouse socks for £2 per pair. I refused to pay and had to leave with 4 sad children.
I guess this pub is ok if you just fancy a quick no frills meal out but I think I would be tempted to pay a little extra and go to Frankie & Bennys instead.

last time i went here i ordered the steak and ale pie it was disgusting, limp, soggy and obviously microwaved! its good for the kids though as the wacky warehouse will entertain them for a few hours. staff nice and prices are cheap. you do get what you pay for though
