I went there with some friends for a birthday and we had a great time! the drinks were really nice and the bar staff were really friendly. Will definitely be going back!

Very bad experience at Bar Aroma tonight — we came because we were looking for a good shisha place but we were made to wait nearly an hour for the shisha to be made. During that time the staff were serving other customers at the bar instead of preparing our order. Definitely do not recommend Bar Aroma to enjoy a shisha, you want to choose places who take you more seriously.

Bar Aroma is delish! The strawberry Daquies are made with real strawberries and blended infront of you, what a clever way to get your five a day! Lots of cocktails and lots of atmosphere. A great place to go if it’s your birthday and have pre drinks before a club.
Plus, as it’s open slightly later than its rivals on the Cowley Road, musicians who have finished playing at the Carling Academy often frequent this haunt, just don’t tell the paparazzi.
