What happens when your bus drops you off just past your destination and you continue walking the bus’ direction while looking at the ever increasing street numbers on the opposite side of the street? You end up hungry, but near the Cous Cous Café. Cous Cous has a large selection of starters, mains and most importantly for me, sandwiches. They offer 3 types of breads with different prices for each. It’s also an extra .20 if you dine in. I asked what they suggested and they directed me to the Moroccan Saffron Chicken on ciabatta. Perfect. Salad comes with your sandwich if you want. This meant marinated aubergine, peppers, a seasonal squash and more. It went really well with the savory moroccan spiced chicken. It was a hearty snack for a directionally confused traveler.

Excellent service delicious food. I visited for the first time yesterday and tried the brie and cranberry baguette. The café itself is quite small, but cosy, with mosaic tables and comfy cushion benches and chairs. I have walked past several times without going in because the outside looks deceptively dive-ish, but it’s much more atmospheric inside — will definitely return!
