The Sunday lunch of slow cooked pork belly was amazing. The service was prompt and friendly. The beer list was extensive and the wine list quite nice. The setting was charming.

The Rickety Press may be a bit out of the way from the general city centre of Oxford, but it is worth a visit or two. It has a certain charm (ok, most pubs have that going for them, but this one especially!) because of the décor (old books and a printing press). The food is not your average pub fare, which makes it slightly more expensive but better in my opinion! Grab a pint from the bar and find yourself a free table, though I must admit that the cozier spaces near the entrance are often already occupied by strategic regulars…

Amazing food. Fantastic service and a lovely environment. We had a large gathering of friends and the staff looked after us superbly.
