Can be very slow at peak times.
Food here is good and staff seem friendly and helpful.
Plenty of seating inside with toilet facilities available.
Full menu of items available at decent prices.
No student discount available.
Good location for students and people living on Mutley plain.
Better than the restaurant located in the city centre.

This is a great KFC. Many of the staff seem to be young students, and offer the sort of friendliness and cheer that old timers have often lost. The food is quick, and cues go down fast. The food is well cooked, although the gravy is almost always a congealed blob by the time I get home. The chicken is stunning as always, and some of the meal deals are real bargains. The ‘mum’s night off’ box is a firm favourite in my house, and has the added bonus of (as the title suggests) giving the wife a night off the cooking, which earns some brownie points!
