Forshaws of Poulton

Forshaws has taken over the shop which used to be Morley’s and seems to be carrying on in a very similar vein, in fact many of the products look identical. Sandwiches, hot and cold pies, cakes, tasty cooked sausage, cooked chicken, cheeses and more. There seems to be less emphasis on the chicken now though which is a shame because it was my favourite product when it was Morley’s. There is an awful lot of competition in Poulton for the sandwich/​pie/​cold meats market though, with countless shops catering for the office workers lunchtime custom and unfortunately many close down very quickly. However, Morley’s was here for years so who knows maybe this brighter more modern version will also stand the test of time.
