Possibly the least busy pub within 100 meters, but other than the one that is actually attached to the station, the closest to the station. Unlike some of the others nearby, Blagrave does have some real ales on offer including a delicious Welsh brew that I enjoyed for £3. There were also taps for Leffe, Peroni, Kronenbourg, Amstel and Scrumpy Jack. Rather quiet on a Sunday afternoon, I imagine the people were off at places that serve Sunday roast, which this place does not. They have a sign offering free wifi but I couldn’t find a signal. Instead, I enjoyed my beer while reading one of the Sunday papers that they had available. There is a snooker table as well.

This pub lacked atmosphere somewhat when I visited, but doesn’t lack for ale, with 4(Doom Bar, Landlord + a couple of local offerings. Had the Lunchtime ale, which was decent). The combination of open fire, open door and ceiling fan left me confused over just what kind of temperature the pub was going for!
