We mainly visited the Fairview under it’s previous ownership as a ‘2−4−1′ brand branch. Now it’s been changed over into a carvery, but other than the menu and prices, not a massive amount has changed. The restuarant and pub areas are huge, taking two full fllors, with almost panoramic views out over the Rochdale countryside, which is certainly a welcome accompanyment to any meal. There’s also a play area for the children outside, but that was looking a little dated last time we went. Ample parking space is available, and is clearly segregated from the kids play area. It’s the type of gastro pub where you pay at the till as you order your food, which is something I prefer, and the food and prices are quite reasonable too.
