Comfy hotel, very well located if you are on business in Salford, or if you are going to a Man U game. Breakfasts are good, although they could do with some hash browns… Staff is very friendly.

This place did exactly what we needed it to, decent bed for the night, and not a million miles away from the City centre. we checked in just after 2pm, and got to our rooms which were good, clean, what you want to see when you’re checking in. The value for money, I’m fairly sure I can say I’m happy, and the only reason I can’t say for definite is I don’t know exactly what I paid(because it was part of a package) but looking at the prices on the website our room was about £60-£80 which for two of us certainly feels like a good price(we stayed on a saturday night) that is the booking in a advance by a couple of weeks price. There’s a good little bar tagged onto the side of the hotel with its own little outdoor bit. The Hotel is in fairly easy walking distance of the Lowry Outlet mall, and within 2 walking minutes if that of two tram stops, which will put you in the city centre within 10 minutes. Staff are polite. The Showers are amazing! it may seem ott to add the exclamation mark but when we were all gathering in the bar downstairs before heading out every single one of us before we uttered any form of hello commented on the shower. The Breakfast in the morning I can’t personally comment on as I had to hot foot it to a train, but the guys who stayed behind informed me that it certainly hit the spot(which after a long sesh in town I can only assume means the quality and quantity were both ticked) Late night from the centre of town a black cab cost us £11 to get back to the hotel. Based on the travel links available to this hotel if its noticeably cheaper than the hotels you’re looking at in the centre of town you’d be better savings the pennies and coming here because the additional travel is negligible

Great place to stay for Salford Quays, The Lowry, Imperial War Museum and all. These attractions are all in walking distance(0.5miles). The Metrolink Tram stops about 200 metres from the hotel, so you’re a skip away from Manchester’s city centre — a pleasant 10 min trip along the wondrous Ship Canal. The star rating is simply based on value — a two night weekend break for £140, total, for a good room, brilliant view, and a perfect site for exploring Manchester makes this a fab place to stay.
