A nice charming hotel in the Cheshire area. A good sized, clean double room with the usual complimentary items. The TV was fully operational with no break up in signal, and the bed were clean and comfy. All the staff we dealt with were really helpful and friendly. We used a voucher for 2 nights, and it worked out to be £35 per night, which is amazing value, and included dinner for the first night. The food at the hotel is also quite good. My rump steak was really nicely cooked, and service was relatively quick by today’s standard. Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend it.

Great little hotel with a great little restaurant! This cute little 3 star hotel is part of Brook hotels who have under their umbrella around 18 country hotels across the country. I like the fact this particular one is set within eight acres of picturesque hotel grounds featuring woodland and scenic gardens, capturing the essence of country house hotels and their appeal as somewhere you can escape to. The hotel’s layout is quaint indeed with a charming half-timbered Tudor style country house. This is a great option for those Chester race days in the summer, with 50 decent en suite rooms costing between £60-£85 a night.
