Sandbach has a few good curry restaurants and take aways so Shampaan has to excel especially as it’s not in the town centre. The staff are friendly enough but what makes it very good is the food. A generous 2 course set menu is £15 a head; add in the Cobra beer (4 pints), side orders and other wonderful side dishes and you pay £30.
One word of caution! The heat ratings, from experience there (after 3 visits), are not soo good. My main course was a lamb naga jalfrezi rated as 4 stars; 5 being the hottest. That was only really a 3 star. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is wonderful.
