Now called S1. Rather brash with big tv screens, bad music and cheap drink combining to make a rather tacky experience. A mainly young client base with the odd older group of interlopers. I’d probably call it a townie venue.

s1 is a nicely set out place with a nice atmosphere. this is a good place to start for predrinks before u go clubbing. exactly what me and a group of friends did before we went to embrace. cheap ISH drinks.

If you like to see LCD Tv’s on every wall with pop music videos playing and you like cheap bar prices, cheep food, lots of students, rowdy atmosphere and very loud chart music then this pub is for you. the beer garden isn’t great because the seats are attached to the table and if there’s more than 6 of you you won’t all be accommodated around the same table and there’s no loose chairs to drag over. Damn stupid idea!

this is more of a student bar its a decent atmosphere! great place to start a night out i would say! always use this point as a meeting place. as its almost the end of west st
