we had a terrible time here. the service was shambolic and the front door kept blowing open meaning it was cold. they mixed our order up and we wished we’d gone to kuti’s. food was average, maybe they were having a bad night.

Superb little restaurant that we stumbled across by accident at the top of Oxford St and went in! An indian restaurant with a twist, some non traditional dishes and dishes presented in modest portions presented properly on the plates. A selection of dishes also produced with local Hampshire fair. Only criticism on the menu is it didn’t show how strong the dishes were before ordering. Prices weren’t that expensive in the end, it was buy one get one free on main courses. The drinks were nice, toliets were clean and it was a nice atmosphere in this small quirky restaurant.

Little restaurant on the corner of Oxford Street. Parking is ample and the outside of the building is impressive. Presents itself as a ‘Gourmet Indian Dining’ Restaurant and by look and portion size it is probably right! When dining here be prepared for non-traditional Indian dining as this is what it is. The food is really nice but the portion size for the price is disappointing. My partner had the baby squid for starter which he said was beautiful but because of the size and price he would not rush to eat it again! For the main I had the Amnah which was ‘A mild creamy dish with mango slices and coconut milk to give a smooth texture’, I didn’t like this at all as the mango was too much and too sweet. Again the portion was really small. The service seemed too quick almost as if we were being rushed out the door and the atmosphere was quite pretentious. I wouldn’t rush to eat here again.
