It’s lovely in here, the staff were more than accomodating considering we were there 10 minutes before opening on Sunday, hankering for a coffee and a breakfast to start a beautiful sunny day! With 50s style art on the walls, a deep blue and white theme and modern overall appearance it was a delightful café. The white chairs look really uncomfortable pieces of minimalist design but in fact, once I sat down I didn’t want to move, topped by swift service, smiley staff, a delicious light foamy topped latte(large size is almost a bowl!) I was in coffee heaven! The only slight let down was the price, it was £6 for a full breakfast which was on the small side, I know the beans came in a ramekin, but they were still beans! And no mushrooms! Boo. Slightly pretentious, but big thick slices of crusty buttered toast brought it back for me. It wasn’t the best for the money we spent; next time I’ll go in for just a coffee or a cocktail.
