Very nice night — a good selection of real ales — the Cumberland was a delight to see as it’s one of my favourite real ales — a friendly welcome as well. Really enjoyed this venue After the let down of the bold forrester

A fine range of six ales available plus all the other beverages you’d expect. The television is showing sports but it’s not intruding on the whole pub. There are quiet areas, free newspapers and a juke box playing interesting tunes in the background. Very much a locals pub I think but friendly nontheless. Definitely well worth a visit.

Lovely pub with 6 real ales. Staff are always friendly and in good supply. Not long since its been repainted inside and it gives it a nice clean feel. Nice garden for smokers and drinkers alike. Good beer guide and casque mark accredited. Gets very busy at weekends but the customers are really friendly. Seems that most of the trade is over the age of 30 which in itself produces a nice atmosphere.
Highly recommended.

great pub, good atmosphere traditional inside but newly decorated and quite light and bright while still keeping the traditional feel.
There are three sperate areas in the pub, which make it feel quite cosy but really it can hold a lot of people.
The pub has its own Darts team and the board is avaliable to all patrons except if the team are playing a match.
The staff are friendly and the service is quick.
There are some good realales served.
There is a newly added beer garden (post smoking ban) which gives good outside space.
