We mostly go to the Bold Forester for meals out, which are very tasty and very reasonably priced. I mean, it’s 4 quid for a main — there are places that do sandwiches that cost that much — and the food is very good for that price. Staff are friendly and helpful also, which is a bonus!

Shocking. The ale tasted poor — surely no recent line clean? To be fair the food was reasonable but alot of work to do. Also why so many youngsters???

Good pub right in the heart of Albert Road.
Cheap booze, does get fairly busy at the weekend.
Fantastic beer garden out back.
