Lovely, characterful place with good food and drink. Lots of places to sit and the service is dealt good. It’s got quite rustic décor and they’ve continued the theme throughout(eg. the sugar on the tables is in empty golden syrup tins). It’s well staffed and a lovely place to stop off when going round St. Albans. Well worth a visit!

So glad this spot opened! Food is great and drinks are even better. Had some drink called African Sling, sooooooo good! Their fried chicken and bleu cheese fries were spot on. I am from the States, raised in the South, fried chicken is our thing! This made me feel like I was back home. It is good for a night out as they play music later in the night. It does get pretty crowded early so book a table if you can!

Corporate hipster vibe. Think exposed brick, open kitchen, coffee in chemistry apparatus, facial hair, that sort of thing. It is massive, so you’ll get a table and can hang out. But it is also pricey. Breakfast good but small, it under delivers on menu promises.
