Uncle Sam’s is, as mb3006 has pointed out, owned by the family that owns the Kingfisher, and as such the food is very good. The chips are of a very high standard, and the staff are friendly. It does have eat-​in tables and meals, but the décor is slightly tacky, and I have never seen anyone eating in. Despite this, if you are looking for chips in Tewkesbury, Uncle Sam’s is every bit as good as Kingfisher and slightly easier to access because it is on the High Street. Well worth it.

Excellent fish and ship shop. I believe it is owned by the same people that own the Kingfisher award winning fish and chip shop in Tewkesbury. Good quality food and good prices.
