My favorite restaurant in England. It’ll always have a special place in my heart because I made my first experience with this kind of kitchen there(as a German you unfortunately don’t get the chance to get such authentic Indian or Nepalese food because there just doesn’t seem to be a market for it here), which is now my absolute favorite. Super friendly staff, very familiar atmosphere, even though we only make it there every few years now, sadly, the waiters still recognize us. My last meal on earth will either be the King Prawn Bhuna or Patia! Best Peshwari naan ever.

Disappointing after hearing such great reviews from locals. I ordered a special that was a lamb and chicken masala which came out cooler than everybody’s at my table. Sitting for a bit or not warmed up enough? I’ll never know. The chicken was disappointingly dry and the lamb chewy and hard. If it wasn’t for an already 35 min investment waiting for the food and a starving table I would have sent it back. Avoid.

I cannot praise the Kathmandu Palace and its staff enough! We have eaten in the restaurant and very often have a takeaway from here. They are always cheerful when you ring and cannot do enough to make sure you are happy with everything. Love it!

Very friendly little restaurant which is nepalese, although mostly the menu is like your average indian restaurant with some variation. The food is consistantly good although the chicken tikka masalla is too sweet for my liking. Portion size is very slightly below average — well the rice is(no sharing a portions between us here!) but the curry is average sized and tasty.
