Been here a few times now and really like it. The staff are polite and friendly, the food is really good and you can bring your own booze! In the summer it’s amazing as you can sit outside on the green which is just perfect. The Moroccan chicken with cous cous is a great dish.

Yes! This place absolutely deserves 5 stars, only the 2nd or 3 rd review that I gave posted on here that warrants 5stars. So unassuming build it an old public toilet block on the green ‘Arthur’ has transformed it into a quaint and incredibly cute little restaurant. Every chIr is different, every candle holder is different it’s all very quirky and fun! A cracking menu, not cheap(chorizo & scallops for £8 starter) but well worth it great good very well cooked. Cooky services with great service and a lot of fun. They do a ‘film night’ where you pay £20 for starter& main and a projected film! Great little place one of my new favourites! Absolutely splendid.

This is a really great quirky restaurant, believe it or not, it is located on the green in Twickenham, in a building which used to be a public toilet. No you aren’t sitting on pans or eating out of urinals, its been completely refurbished and is a small and intimate place to eat, with a cover for about 40 – 50. The food is British and is of a very high standard. We were their for a 50th birthday party and took up most of the restaurant, the proprietors went out of their way to ensure we had a good time and also ensure the the other patrons were well catered for. A great little snug to enjoy a meal whilst looking out over the green.

It’s a bog well an old one used to be Public Toilets, but now extended, and a conservatory with great views of the green. The first time I had a very good value set lunch. This time we went A la Carte, my goat’s cheese/pesto crostini was great, and my guest enjoyed their soup. Main course of Venison casserole was fine but didn’t excite. Cheeseboard was good and big enough to share. Wine list is a little limited, and quite a few by the glass. It’s closed on Mondays except for occasional Film evenings which sound fun. There’s outside seating which the local authority saw fit to limit dates and numbers so much for café society. Opens around 10⁄11 for coffee. Service is pretty friendly if a little forgettful, if booking ask for a window seat except on very hot days. Recently went back for lunch with a party of 12, for a pre Rugby lunch, it was handled really well, and they ensured we were finished on time for 1.15 departure, including ‘pud’ and coffee, very understanding and friendly service.
