Top cocktail bar! Most nights are happy hour from 5−8pm and it gets pretty busy in here but they have a garden which is perfect in the summer! Happy hour is mainly buy one get the same cocktail free, and cocktails start from £8 each. The cocktail that I would recommend that is like alcoholic milkshake is the ice cream sandwich. This is a white chocolate liqueur blended with cookies, cream and ice cream! Yum! When it gets pretty busy you can see how skilled the barmen are, as they start making about twenty drinks all at once! It’s fun to watch especially when bottles go flying, or when the barmen dance, or when they set drinks alight and it’s entertaining to watch, it’s just like being served a drink from the film cocktail!

A small intimate bar where the staff are friendly! It’s bordering on cheesy. The cocktails are ok, but not sophisticated, but quaffable all the same! It’s the pick of wimbledon for fun and frolics. It’s not for everyone, but worth a try! Thx Kx

I was here back in late June. Really liked it. Nice 2 for 1 happy hour. Delicious cocktails and nice bartenders. Only thing it could do with, is more space. It gets rather loud and packed inside and when I was there the outside closed early, ejecting us from a place where we could enjoy a conversation to a room where we soon decided it was best to leave.

Went to this bar with a group of friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior is really nice and has a glow to it. Service was great and drinks were awesome! Barman flaring was also entertaining! Highly recommend!

I have had a number of parties in Suburban from my birthday to my engagement party and it always delivers. The selection of cocktails is mindblowing and they have an excellent happy hour from 5pm 8pm on week days and 5pm 7pm on weekends. The music is mostly made up of cheesy sing-along rock and the staff are all a little bit cheeky in exactly the right way. The only downside is that the place is a bit like the Hotel California. You can never go for just one drink. I don’t think I have ever left there sober or before it closed.

Mmm, yummy scrummy cocktails from smiley happy bar staff. This is a great place for a few drinks to start off the night. It is a very small bar and can get quite hot and cramped of a weekend, but the cocktails are scrumdiddly and the vibe is great. They tend to play better music than your average bar — a little rock n roll, a few oldies — so I imagine if you don’t mind getting intimately close and rather sweaty with the rest of the clientele it could be a great place to have a dance too!

Suburban used to have a branch in Fulham that I used to frequent a hell of a lot as a student, mainly as it was 2−4−1 every night and both the cocktails and selection were excellent. It shut a couple of years ago. Now slightly more grown up, I discovered the original Suburban branch. I don’t think it is as good as the old Fulham Broadway branch, it’s smaller and it’s only on one floor so no quiet upstairs to escape to. The range and tastiness of the cocktails is still excellent and there is a small garden at the back. Mondays are a good night to go as its 2−4−1 all night but I’ve had many a worse cocktail in specialist cocktail bars for more than the £7 average price of a cocktail here. Great place for catching up with friends after work, or starting a night out.

I quite often come here with my girlfriends after work and have a few cocktails — the happy hour makes things very reasonable and a good night out.

I could say one word; Mojito’s to describe Wimbledon cocktail bar and trendy local spot Suburban. Then that would be neglecting to mention the rather insane and very athletic dancing(mostly jumping around) I did in this place a couple of Saturday nights ago. I think it was my battle with ‘the most gigantic pizza ever’ up the road in Al Forno that brought on this bout of activity. Either way Big Pizza + Mojito=mental dancing, in my case anyway. A weird form of cardio really. Don’t really remember much of the place other then that! More good times in London.

I used to go to Art School just around the corner from this little cocktail bar. It was perfect for a Friday night starting point as they have happy hour from 5 til 7 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Even though it’s a tiny place it’s got a big character. There’s usually a few friendly(sometimes overly friendly) exotic foreigners flaring behind the bar and there’s a great local feel to the place. The cocktails are no less than brilliant as well. It can get a bit raucous later on at night when the music gets cranked up and the various cocktails and shots take their toll with dancing on the tables and chairs. I’ve always had good fun in here, earlier on it’s a great place to catch up with friends while it’s still a bit quiet and in the summer they have bbqs out back in their cosy beer garden.

There’s a distinct lack of decent bars in Wimbledon, if you don’t feel like venturing up to Wimbledon Village, all you’re left with are a mix of soulless chains like the nearby wetherspoons. Surburban is a stumbling block away from Wimbledon tube station. A cool little bar, with friendly aussies bartenders who seem to spend their free moments showing off their glass twirling, cocktail shaking skills. I always seem to venture in at the right time, somewhere around 5pm when they have 241 on cocktails and cheaper bottles of wine. The cocktail list is extensive, with over 100 varieties, so you can be sure the bar staff know their stuff. Once you’ve chosen your drink, sink into a comfy sofa by the fire and wait for the bar to fill up as the young professionals file in after work. Definitely one of the better bars to be found in these parts, aim to get there for happy hour to make the most out of the dazzling cocktail list.

Great bar; the atmosphere is very chilled and cosy with sofas next to a flaming gas fire. The music is my favourite in Wimbledon; and after about 9pm people start dancing even though it’s very small! The staff there are very friendly and they do deals on the cocktails; 2 for 1 etc. Highly recommended

Ah, Suburban holds a special place in my heart. One of Wimbledon’s smaller evening venues, Suburban is the best place to take a friend for a chat, a girl for a romantic drink or a group of mates for the best cocktails Wimbledon has on offer. The music they play differs from night to night, but usually includes the best reggae and a range of rock n’ roll. Two tequilas later and you’ll settle right in! In a country where binge-drinking is a problem, Suburban displays a funny, apt pro-drinking slogan near their backdoor. You should read it! Cocktail wise I’d recommend the tangy Seabreeze, a cranberry concoction, or the wonderful F.B.I which features coffee liqueur, Bailey’s, vodka and ice-cream. Hang around long enough, and you may even be inducted into the Suburban Wall of Fame.

The cocktails here are A-MAZING. I was out with a huge group of friends — two of whom knew the barman — and he made us all this sky blue colour shot each… Now, when I think of shots I think ‘oh-my-God! Help! Tequila!’ or ‘I’m going to be sick — Sambuca!’ but this blue stuff was divine. Possible one of the most heavenly things I have ever tasted… they sure know how to make ‘em at Suburban! Other than my out-of-this-world shot… the staff were lovely, the place was really nice, very charming, and it wasn’t overly crowded — can’t wait to go back!!! Video link:

Fun, lively small bar located in the centre of wimbledon– 2mins walk from the sation. They have a huge cocktail list, great bar staff from the enthusiastic newer staff to the plain flash flarers. And they quite obviously love their job– no sadd faces n plenty of enthusiasm to go with the drinks. The most important thing to remember is they have happy hour every day! 5 – 8 mon thurs 5 – 7 fri-sun– 241 on cocktails, 241 on peroni n house wine at £8 per bottle. This is the best night out in wimbledon– no front, no agro, just plain good old fashioned piss up.

This place is excellent. When it first opened it launched without hype. It just did it thing and the bar staff were all super entertaining to watch. Flaring it is called and you know that flim with Tom cruise before he went all religous, well you would think the bar staff were in it. Very close to the station with 2 for 1 happy hours drinks everyday at 5pm, you can’t go wrong with this place for after work drinking in Wimbledon. The windows get all steamed up, but that just adds to the appeal where the music is excellent and the girls dance on a Sunday, a Monday, a Tuesday, in fact they dance here if it ends in a ‘Y’ Noddy is right, iti s without aggro and a great way to start a midweek night in Wimbledon or finish a Friday or Saturday night. So popular they have just opened in Fulham because this place is such an unpretentious success. If you see me at the bar, then I will have the Cuban pussy
