Came here with a friend just to kill time before catching the train back to London. We only ordered dessert and tea. I got lemon tea. You can never go wrong with that. For dessert I got the chocolate fondant with ice cream. It was very delicious. My friend got Torta di Fuitta. Fruit was fresh and tart was creamy yet not too sweet. Perfect. Plating: elegant. Price: average. 4.5−5.5 pounds/dessert Service: wonderful. Environment: modern romantic.

This place, formally café flo, could be oh so good. Great position in the centre of the royal station. The only place you can smoke in the station, as the upper seating forms part of the next shopping centre. Where the management are mire open to the requirements of customers. The restaurant has good breakfast, but gets the extra star for the outside chairs

The best caffe latte in town. I had a piatto biscotti which was superb and too good to share-8 little biscuits all to myself! A bit pricey — both costing £5.65 but still a treat. Airy and open environment, friendly and efficient staff. I liked what I saw, so I came back with a friend for lunch. We had what was essentially an Italian breakfast — scrambled eggs, crispy pancetta, toasted ciabatta, fried tomato and mushrooms. Great food and cost was c. £8 each. It also came with a large glass of fresh juice(orange or apple) and a cup of tea or coffee which made the price pretty reasonable. Definitely reinforced my original 4* rating!
