Handy for the station, wrong side of the tracks for the town, but there is a subway underpass to get you across quickly.
It’s quite a large Travelodge, and on my visit they were in the process of replacing all the beds, so expect a more comfortable sleep in future. Room temperature was OK, and although I was on the street side it was nice and quiet.
The car park is large and free to park (unlike some Travelodges). This did lead to problems as it has no barriers and seems to be utilised by office workers during the day, so it can be difficult to find a space.
