I’ve not been to Duncan’s for a while as not been in that part of town but I used to go occasionaly. It’s been there as long as I can remember. They do sandwiches to take away so I went in a few times for sandwich and drink. Their sandwiches are quite tasty with different fillings to choose from. The sandwiches are fairly big, and not too expensive.

This has to be one of the best places to go to get a nice fesh sarnie in the centre of York!
The bread is always fresh and squishy and the sandwhichs are made fresh so never soggy! There’s always a huge variety to choose from, my favourite is the Tuna and red onion, also the sandwich of choice to cure a hang over!
They also serve Baked potatoes, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle — yummy
