Doll Cake. This is one of the brands in this gorgeous children’s boutique. I mention it because I think the words ‘Doll Cake’ have a magical ring to them and and conjure up images of pretty tea parties and innocent, joyous laughter. Such images fit very well with Mulberry Bush Children’s fashion boutique. The deep plum walls and terracotta flooring make this inviting nook an enchanted place adorned with lovely lace garments and clothes as pretty as a picture. Boys clothes are stocked here too but the girl’s clothes seemed far more prevalent. Maybe because they’re more fun for fashion designers to make. I’d certainly enjoy carefully crafting an awe-inspiring wonder that looks like it waltzed right out of a fairy tale. Boutique prices apply and the clothes here are expensive but not ridiculously over the top. Just what you’d expect to pay for such fine items. However, there is 20 to 50 percent off stock at the moment so some glamour and glitz for the little ones is a whole lot more affordable. I was particularly taken with an eight year old’s beautiful red skirt with pink, pretty lace cast over the top. A lovely pink ribbon belt topped off the transfixing garment. Maybe I can stretch it to my size… at $ 30 it’s probably worth a try.
