Stopped by to grab coffee and a few sweet items. Order & pay at the counter. This place sends mixed signals. There is stuff everywhere and the menu is different on special days. They have a Mexican night and then European menu for lunch & dinner. I liked the sound of the Acai Berry bowl so kept a mental note to stop by for that. They sell Addiction food truffles — I love these! Especially the Chocolate Orange & Coconut & Mint Chocolate. Good coffee too!

The Campos coffee wasn’t bad but had a bit of sediment that have it a slight burnt aftertaste. The shoestring fries were nice. The prosciutto pizza wasn’t anything to write home about. The prosciutto and tomato sauce were good, the cheeses indifferent and the dough was good but undercooked. The coffee and walnut gluten free cake was very nice. $ 67 for two adult and a child’s mains, two coffees, a cake and a side off fries.

The coffee here is campos — so gies without saying its likely to be good — and ours certainly was. The atmosphere is very friendly almost communal. looks out over the Burns Bay village park area. We ordered the pancakes and French toast. Very very nice Sunday morning breakfast.

I’ve only ever had brunch and coffee at Lodge, but I’ve yet to have a disappointing experience. Service is friendly and attentive, brunch(especially the pancakes with lemon curd!) Is great. There’s indoor seating which is great for a chat or a quiet cuppa, and outdoor seating for sunny days. Might be a tad on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and the overall experience is well worth it.
