There are very limited choices of restaurants in the area, but we stumbled across this one and decided to go for dinner. I had the seafood linguine and mussels appetizer. The mussels were good but it only came with one piece of bread. The seafood linguine was filled with seafood as promised, and the linguine was cooked perfectly al dente, just the way I like it. Overall a good experience but a bit pricey

Great location with very friendly staff who did a great job in explaining the food. But dinner for us was a mixed bag. The chilli prawns were great as an entrée, but the zucchini fritters were very basic. They looked like just a few rectangular slices of zucchini covered in batter and popped in the fryer. For the mains, my squid ink pasta with local prawns was brilliant, filling and very tasty. My wife’s barramundi was just the fish fillet with what looked like a few random small chopped pieces of vegetables sparsely arranged around it. There wasn’t much to it and she found it very disappointing. All things added up, it felt like we got very differing experiences and not indicative of the price we paid for dinner.

Disappointed, went there on a Wednesday evening and there were plenty of seats. My husband had the seafood linguini which was amazing. I had the daily risotto special which was clam and fennel, and it was bland and appeared under cooked. I did mention it to the waiter, he came back with a message from the chef that this was how it was meant to be. Some Parmesan and /or pine nuts could possibly have rescued it. So a fairly average service, one very nice dish, one rather horrible one.

Great food and a terrific location. Despite not having a reservation on a really crowded night, the hostess found us a table. Terrific food and wonderful staff.

The food was amazing, and the chef is committed to using only EVOO, so it was perfect for a #soyfree girl… which included having the chocolate lava cake for dessert, which was to die for. The service was the best that we found in all of our time traveling in Australia. The waiter let me taste 6 wines so that I could pick the perfect one. We had the ridiculously big seafood platter for two, which was HUGE. The oysters and calamari were really yummy.
