Came here a few times on a recent trip to the GC and as is the stock standard for most people visiting the coast, you have to go to at least one club. The menu is quite impressive, and for its location, right on the beach, the prices are great. The bar and dining area are together and sprawl over the top floor taking in the best of the view and the windows slide to accommodate(or protect) that gorgeous sea breeze. Menu covers breakfast, lunch and dinner nicely with a few staples mixed in with some«fancier» fare but note that some options are only available at certain times. On my visits I had the panzanella salad(beautiful), the chicken burger(just right) and a halloumi rattatouille beetroot salad mix(it surprisingly works well). All the food was served promptly and staff are friendly and helpful. Drinks are reasonably priced with a decent selection and the bar, although situated away from the windows, still offers a nice view of the surf over the heads of the dining patrons. They also do barista coffee and cakes so those on long walks looking to stop off for a break whilst strolling the beach are in for a treat. This place does get busy on the weekends and the standard popular dinner nights, so if your keen for a view, maybe come for lunch or book a table. Close to a lot of holiday apartments, this place is great to make your local drinking haunt to hang out with the locals and relax out of the sun. And don’t forget to donate to surf lifesaving club itself!

Good honest club/pub style food at great prices. Great view over the water. Easy walk from Cavill Ave.
