I had this the first night that I arrived in Copenhagen, it’s like a 5 minute walk from the Radisson Blu, I had it only because it was a bit late and I didn’t want to have Mcdonalds or Burger King. The place itself is located in a touristy area along with a few other fast food places. I’ve never had Shawarmas before but I’ve had similar from food trucks back in the states. My take on this type of food, first I wasn’t impressed, second I would consider this fast food that is not a rare thing but instead is readily available anywhere in Copenhagen. I ordered a Shawarma sandwich with fries and a soft drink, let me say that they can do better on the size of the drinks, they’re the size as any drink in any happy meal, I probably drank it in like 3 sips. The sandwich itself is not too big, so if you eat a lot, you’ll need two. Overall I think this place is is a mix between a tourist trap and something of a fast food place, they’re not expensive or will not try yo overcharge you, but I feel that the food it’s no big deal, I would probably have them again in an emergency, nothing more.

Damn good shawarmas. One of the best that I’ve had, if not the best. The unassuming tiny joint in the Strøget usually has a line, but service is quick. I mean quick. I ordered my shawarma and before I could figure out how many kroner I pulled out of my pocket, my shawarma was ready on the counter. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

I passed by numerous shawarma places during my 3-day stay in the city. Shawarma Grill House is located near the start of a shopping street but I honestly wasn’t going to eat here – until a friend recommended it.(Was told shawarma is quite popular in Denmark). I noticed a lot of ethnic locals(good sign), the people behind the counter were friendly, and orders moved very fast. Ended up ordering a lamb wrap for 41DKK. The meat was soft and quite flavourful. Overall a nice little place to try shawarma in the city. No frills. Btw, I know it isn’t exactly cheap per Canadian standards but don’t forget that it IS Copenhagen and things are expensive.

I really liked this place. Things are extremely fast, or at least they were when I ordered food – I actually got my food before I was done ordering. They aren’t huge into customer service, but they are fast, which is more important to me at a restaurant like this. Falafel and fries were good. Other items did appear to be more expensive compared to other shawarma places in Copenhagen, but this is the case for almost all the Strøget. I would go again.

Shawarma Menu(sandwich fries & coke) is a fine meal anytime, about 12USD. Good service. Super choice for sure.

This exactly hit the spot after a whole day of walking though Copenhagen. I found this place through Unilocal reviews, not wanting the fussiness of a sit-down-in-a-restaurant meal or your standard fast food. The meat was very flavorful, in my opinion, having hints of spice(maybe cinnamon or something else warm and earthy). Hummus was delish. And the lettuce was cool and crispy. Took it to go and chowed down in my hotel room, shoes and socks off(ahhhh). Completely satisfied!

Shawarma restaurants are everywhere in Copenhagen. This place was the second shawarma restaurant I visited because these places give you extremely generous portions for not a lot of money. This place happened to be in a central location and had great Unilocal reviews. I’m always a little apprehensive of trying places with bad or no Unilocal reviews in big European cities because as an American I pay around $ 18 per meal and I don’t want to pay lots of money for a bad meal. I ordered the marinated chicken plate which came with hummus and 2 pieces of pita bread. Overall I was quite pleased with my meal. The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Mix that with good hummus and pita bread and you have a great meal. I paid 134DKK or around $ 16USD for my meal which included a drink and an extra order of fries, also good. I was very satisfied with my meal as well as with the quick and friendly customer service.

It’s a decent place for a late night eat. They were nice enough to substitute with hummus instead of yogurt inside my Shawarma sandwich which was nice of them. Well priced for the area.

Very friendly staff. Very fast service. The shawarma plate was so good! Nicely marinated meat cooked to perfection. And they have hot oil to add to it(although I wish they covered it)

You know how it is; it’s 1 in the morning and you need something greasy and substantial to soak up the alcohol sloshing around in your stomach. Apparently this place is a good bet, judging by the line and the fact that it’s open til the wee hours of the morning on weekends. Oddly enough we didn’t get the shawarma here, but instead tried the falafel pita. It was much better than I expected for a restaurant on Strøget. And the service was FAST. The fries were hot and so was the falafel, but with crispy lettuce. The falafel itself was not quite as good as Ahaaa but still tasty and crunchy on the outside. Perfect end to a night out in centrum.

Honestly I didn’t really enjoy the shawarma… the meat wasn’t well seasoned at all but I did like the bread though. Overrated, overhyped. .I reckon, but whoever wants to experience the middle eastern ambiance with an unusual beef shawarma then you’re are in the right place.

A must try. One of the best swharmas I’ve ever tried. The humus tasted fresh and was really creamy. You must also try their special home made hot sauce. The prices are also unbeatable. I got two sandwiches and an order of humus for about $ 20US.

Mixed chicken grilled, DKK84. The sauce was great, the grilled chicken taste so good, too bad the salad portion was too small for me. Great value in total.

My partner and I were trying to find good food for dinner. So we followed the suggestions from Unilocal. We came to this restaurant with a half self-service. But the food was really good. We have tried many Turkish-Arabian food before. The Shawarma we had was very delicious. This became one of the restaurants we like. Really well done. Wirklich sehr gut!

Got the mixed grill just for my buddy back home Tommy Sfakis. Was very tasty, the lamb my favorite, beef than chicken. Hummus was homemade and spicy which was a first. Damn good and for 99 Krone not bad.

Sure, you can have a falafel, some grilled meat or mezze. You can even get chilli con carne(awefully made, wouldn’t recommend it). But really, the only reason why anyone EVER go to this joint is for their amazing, over the top delicious, yummy, mindblowingly incredible shawarma. The first to open in CPH and without the shred of a doubt the King of Kebab. If you haven’t been there, you’re soo missing out.

Cheap eats in the middle of Copenhagen. A huge shawarma plate can be had for about 90DKK, and it should fill most people. The meat was well cooked and flavorful, and they provide a chili sauce for anyone wanting some kick. Other options on their menu include various pita sandwiches, such as a shawarma sandwich and a falafel sandwich.
