Came here to see one of my favourite bands(Altar of Plagues) for what may be their last ever show. The venue itself is fine, it’s a bit grimy grafitti. I suppose it has more character than most of the places in London. The main room basically looks like part of a Laserquest arena as it’s full of pillars and graffiti and red lighting.(hmm, I’m thinking of marrying laserquest with grindcore bands as a new business idea, could work). The sound was ok here, but one of the speakers definitely ended up popping a lot with the drums. Still, I’ve been to worse. There’re a few sofas at the back for relaxing too. For the other stuff, I didn’t have any drinks here, Tuborg cans are the main things on offer, but they also do bottles of Corona, Leffe Dark etc. for DKK39 a bottle which is ok. Not inspiring, but fine. Overall pretty decent venue and seems to attract a lot of decent bands.

After our mistaken detour at KB3 and a quick double check, we ended up at KB18 to the sweet sound of some pumping base. The clubs got lots of graffiti lining all over and makes for a cool décor; feels like a basement party type thing. There’s two parts to it. The bar area that’s a little quieter with some seating available and another room that’s kept dark with a stage the Dj is on. The drinks are also quite fail given Copehagens cost and the sound system was kicking. I’m unsure as I didn’t asking who was spinning that night but it was good. Deep house all night till 8am when they close.

Open till very late, great big soundsystem with a lot of bass. Electronic Music profile, with local and international DJs. The more specific genre depend on the club night or what promoter is used, but usually it’s Deep/Tech/Techno/House. Relaxed atmosphere, and friendly prices in the bar, and always dancing people near the DJ booth + also many chairs /couches for the chatting people. What’s not to like
