We are staying in Acrueil while visiting Paris for our honeymoon. After several days of French food(lots of bread and sandwiches), we were craving some Chinese food. Since we couldn’t find a good bowl of noodles anywhere nearby, we decided to give this place a try. We started with some egg flower soup with small pieces of shrimp that wasn’t too bad. For some reason the malls close early here(8pm) but restaurants don’t open till pretty late(7pm). We got there at 6:22pm and waited till about 7pm before all the food(buffet style) was brought out. Lots of fried foods and noodles. If you’re looking for healthy foods, you won’t find much in their buffet section. I desperately wanted some veggies but found nothing other than french fries, fried drumsticks, fried rice, fried scallops, chow mein, chicken, beef, meatballs, etc. I’m usually okay with buffets but pre-cooked foods here weren’t very good. Bland and the beef was difficult to chew and swallow. What I did like was the stir-fry wok portion of this restaurant. I loaded up on zucchini, onions, wood ear, and some beef and went up to the counter. They had a list of 7 – 8 different sauces to add. The list was written in French and Chinese, and since I can’t read either, I had to speak to the chef in Chinese to figure out which was which. I ended up opting for the«CHEF» which was a garlic sauce. It was delicious! I loved being able to get fresh cooked veggies for dinner. Added that to some shu-mai and I was happy. They also had fresh fruit, mochi, sashimi, shrimp, hard-boiled eggs, salad, and ice cream at different stations. Usually I’d try out the ice cream but it didn’t look too great so I passed. Pricey for dinner($ 16 – 17 Euros per person, not including drinks), but when you don’t have many options in the area, it’s doable. Plus: The staff here is very friendly and the restaurant is very spacious and comfortable.
