Encore un excellent restaurant dans Bordeaux!
Nous avons commencé avec en entrée: un carpaccio de boeuf, le foie gras, et la salade mozzarella. Excellents.
En plat principal, nous avons testé le thon mi cuit, un vrai régal. Les plats sont copieux, le service rapide. Compter environ 20 euros pour un plat.
Une très bonne table, à refaire.

Stopped in on a rainy evening. Our server was delightful and fun. We spoke broken French, his English much better. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine (not expensive) and the spinach lasagna and duck casserole (much like Shepherds pie). Both were very tasty. The tables are low and so are the seats, kinda hard to stay comfortable after exploring the city all day. The chandelier is brilliant!

With French girls from work. Therefore I did not need to worry about ordering food. Yay-​. I am not sure if they serve in English.
The starter was beef carpaccio itself earned 4 stars. It was not salty and its combination with salad was going very well. The knife they gave me was not easy to use and a bit to hard to eat with. I know that is a little detail but I would say 3.5. Other restaurants gave me better silvers for ease of use.
Main was sea-​bus. The visual could have been better but it was ok though cannot give four stars or it can be overly judged as it was not elaborated plate.
I ended up with horrible pannacotta — 1star, which resulted two stars overall. That pannacotta was sitting in smelly fridge for a while and the cream absorbed other food and it stank.

Pour ceux qui aiment les poireaux vinaigrette facturés à plus d’une dizaine d’euros, cette brasserie est un établissement incontournable ! Je plaisante, mais enfin le hic au café Bellini, ce sont les prix !
Autrement le cadre est magnifique. La brasserie a été «très» bien refaite, alliant modernité et classicisme. Les plats à la carte sont attrayants, la cave remarquable.
Pour autant, je n’ai pas très envie d’y déjeuner. Pas assez rock’n’roll ou trop bordelais, dans le mauvais sens du terme… un brin snob, so chic, mais manquant terriblement d’ambiance… Je cède ma place.

C’est la terrasse qui est bien agréable au café Bellini.
Situé sur les allées Tourny, l’endroit est beau, tout naturellement.
Parfait pour le fameux tea time !
A l’intérieur, c’est déco «à l’italienne», superbe lustre à pampilles mais je trouve le tout un peu impersonnel. C’est une brasserie à laquelle il manqué le bruit des gens qui papotent, l’odeur des bons plats…
Mais sinon, la carte n’est pas très cher vu le quartier et le service est impeccable.
