Sorry but I had to write this review. I had read previous reviews and thought this could be a great restaurant. I was attending a conference and was beat. It’s a weekday evening at 8:15pm and as I arrive I see how quaint this small restaurant is and anticipate how good this dinner will be. There are 10 or 12 tables and only 3 tables are being used. I ask the bartender for a table(in French) and he rudely asks«did you make a reservation?» I said no. He said«sorry we are full». I look at the 9 open tables and wondered what was going on. I politely left but if he could have heard my thoughts! There are many other great little places in Evians. Pass.

Exceptional experience. From the first moment we called to make a reservation, they made us feel at home. The small menu means that everything we saw looked spectacular. We had the port terrine and courgette salad were both amazing. For our main we both got the pork filet and again, perfect. Because we have some food allergies, we couldn’t do dessert but the cheese plate was all very local, well explained, and delicious. We couldn’t recommend them more.

This is a delightful small restaurant run by a young husband/wife team. There are just a few choices of each course(appetizer /main plate /dessert) and probably they change daily. I had an avocado mousse /shrimp /mesculin appetizer that was cool and heavenly and then main course was a local fish(from lac geneve) wrapped around saumon. The bread was wonderful as you’d expect in France. This is an all evening experience — not fast food. One of the best meals I have ever had!
