Unfortunately we were disappointed in the food here. Overall, I would give the food 3.5 stars and the service 3 stars. The zucchini blossom was delicious and my favorite dish. Very earthy and tasty. The sweetbreads were just ok. I’ve made them myself and they were better so I expected more. For the main dish, the chef made a vegetarian risotto, which is not on the menu. It was a large portion size and very flavorful. I would order it again. The other main dish ordered was the steak served with mashed potatoes. The steak was not cooked to the right temperature. In fact, it was quite rare(not medium like ordered). That’s fine if the chef wants to cook it to a certain temperature but then again, why ask a preference? The mashed potatoes were quite gooey and frankly inedible. For dessert, a chocolate mouse was ordered for the table but was so rich that only 2 bites could be had. It was worth ordering but I highly recommend splitting dessert. Aside from the food being disappointing, the service was quite bad. There were too many people with too many tasks and it came across as unorganized. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for my wine to be poured. Then when I finally went to pour it myself, the woman rushed over to try and take bottle from me. Sorry madam, a little late. This meal was not at all worth $ 400. There are much better restaurants in this town. I hear the view is great but it was enclosed that night and again, I’m not sure it is a $ 400 view.
