If you find the Sofitel Casino at the waterfront in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, walk west for 5 minutes and you’ll come to the port. Descend to the lower level of shops and restaurants and you’ll find Le Faré. It’s worth the visit, because you’ll be served delicious food in large portions. It’s a touristy part of the world, so the food’s not cheap. The set menu I chose was EUR33(I had oysters, dourade in a delicious bouillabaisse, and a framboise macaron, but there were many wonderful choices), but filled me to the point where I couldn’t eat any more. It tasted great and looked great. The restaurant itself is simple but comfortable. It was raining when we were there but I think it would be quite nice when the weather was better since the front is all glass looking out into the port. The large group I was with all felt the same way.
