This restaurant is situated in one of the loveliest town squares I’ve ever seen. So medieval it looks fake. You have to think twice to make sure you’re not in Disney World. Very good food and people. They found a waiter who spoke a little English. Not easy in France. We got duck confit, cassoulet, which this region is known for, steak frites(entrecôte) and filet mignon. I never get filet mignon because I think it might be dry. My wife wanted it; this was juicy and served as a reminder that the French are justly proud of their meat. The frites were superb. All of the food was very hearty, filling and tasted good. The people there were nice. I want to come back here, and go to Le Saint Maurice.
