Pas terrible et assez cher. Les salades sont très simples et fades. L’assiette d’antipasti est composée en grande partie de salade. 80 € pour 2 personnes

Zweites Frühstück mit Espresso und Wasser zu erstaunlich normalen Preisen hier inmitten Alt-​Nizza. Um uns herum trödelt es, was das Zeug hält und für einen Montagmorgen ist allerhand geboten. Der Espresso schmeckt, der Russe am Nebentisch ist bereits besoffen und ansonsten alles lässig — jedes Image passt. Bis auf das, das sagt, dass es in Nizza immer teuer sein muss und der Service schlecht. Ist nicht so.

Our lunch was Delish and I particularly enjoyed the location and definitively my mojitos, snails and beef tartare. It’s pricey as our bill for 2 was 80 euros. I was severely disappointed at the end of the meal and it’s the primary reason for the review. When reviewing the bill, I noticed an extra main charged for 29euros and I have the distinct feeling they did it on purpose. If you are a tourist, I do not recommend this place unless you pay some attention.

Based on other reviews, I think you are safe if you come here for breakfast. This place is packed with people on a sunny day as it borders the marketplace where vendors sell different hobby trinkets and historical family artifacts. Yes, it is a tourist spot, but we did also see a lot of French people who may or may not be locals. Most people were enjoying an espresso or wine with chips. This is the first time that my husband and I have seen so many people enjoying a glass of wine with chips together at 9am. It definitely gave off a European/​French vibe. :)
This was our first breakfast in Nice and we didn’t know where to go, so we just chose the busiest spot near the place we were staying at.
We chose a small table outside and soon realized this was a mistake because we each ordered the breakfast special and chose the American version because for 2 euros more you received 3 strips of fresh bacon, 2 sunny side up eggs and 3 pieces of cottage cheese. The total was 10 euros inclusive of a loaf of bread, 1 chocolate croissant (mine accidentally had 2) and a regular croissant, a café lait, orange juice, fruit and the other above listed things. It was a lot of of food for a reasonable price!
It was nice people watching, but we did feel a bit rushed because they were so busy and there weren’t many tables outside left.
The place would have deserved a 5 if the service had been better. The waiter was a bit rude and abrupt. When we asked for water, he didn’t bring it and when we asked again, he waved us quickly off and came back with it. There were a lot of people standing around while 2 waiters mainly worked. The manager inside was nice and helpful.
Overall, breakfast on a sunny day here is nice.

good for coffee on a sunny morning to watch people watch by the market. too touristy to enjoy a good meal.

Probably one of the better Brasseries in the Cours Saleya /​Marche aux Fleurs area, with seating in the central courtyard area as well as inside and outside the property.
Menu is largely predictable for Nice (a mixture of French and Italian influences), but service is good and my filet steak was one of the best I’ve had in recent years.

Un Irish coffee à 10EUR qui reste sans doute le plus mauvais souvenir que je peux avoir d’une boisson chaude (qui plus est qui était tiède), à éviter: restaurant pour touristes et sans grand intérêt

Le métal
Situé sur le cours saleya, c’est un pub très sympa, la musique y est bonne avec un DJ qui aime beaucoup le Rap US. Le décor est soigné avec du leopard sur les banquettes et des jeux de lumière sympas. Le plus du Métal? La creperie située à l’exterieur qui satisfait tout les gourmands. En été, la terrasse est très agréable. Notons que la majeure partie des matchs du Mondial 2006 seront retransmis en direct sur des écrans géants !
