Had a nice dinner here. Carefully prepared and delicious. I liked the old location better in the Marais, though.

Wonderful experience; initially the only couple as we arrived just as the restaurant opened for the evening — full house by the time we left. Great dining atmosphere; Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee song tracks softly playing; pretty young French waiter in black turtleneck with tiny blue jeans along with a second waiter looking like Keanu Reeves but with a better French accent. Lovely meal for two; perfectly chilled bottle of white wine; foie gras with toast points; thick white asparagus blanketed by lemon butter sauce; lamb with the softest polenta topped with pistachio jimmies; the type of grilled cod never seen on the west coast(US); apple tarte tatin with caramel and crème fraiche; and expresso to finish.

The food(foie gras, angler fish, and salmon and chèvre tartar) was delicious, reasonably priced, and the very polite and bilingual waiter recommended a wine that paired well with all plates. The menu changes daily making the dishes creative and fresh. Having also dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant this trip, I enjoyed this meal more. Eat here.

Great environment, low lighting makes for a golden soft cellar like-atmosphere. The service was good. The quality of the food, and wine was excellent. We stumbled upon the place on a walk around Montmatre, tables filled, spilled onto the sidewalk. The interior was elegant, simple, and classy. The Three Little Pig theme was cute, but somewhat misleading as there was no pork on the menu, although the duck must have been good because by the time we ordered it, it was sold out, and the lamb was tender and mighty flavorful. If we lived in Paris, Aux Trois Petits Cochons would certainly be one of our regular spots.

Décor: 8 taste:7.5 service 9. The 3 pigs is a good place to eat with a feel of home cooked meals. I had the French onion soup which was good but I thought the bread needs to be thicker. The pax tail in the oven was excellent. My only dislike is that it may have been a tad too salty for my liking. But it was perfectly cooked in. I am happy I ate here and would recommend it. Beware the place is small and has a nice ambiance with candles and light music. The dessert was ok. I had the macaroon which seemed a bit stale. But the mouse filling was great.

We ate here solely on the basis of how the restaurant looked and were not disappointed. However I have to express my displeasure with the way the owner treated me, which was puzzling. I never said or did anything to offend him, yet he did not acknowledge my presence except to take my order. He was extra polite to my husband, though. It made me wonder, after he ignored my thanks and goodbye(in French) if this was some sort of anti-woman gay attitude on his part. It was an unpleasant blot on an otherwise fine evening. Quel homme etrange.

This is a review from December, 2013. We were always fans from before they moved from the Marais. This was our first visit since they’ve been in Montmartre. Food is still delicious, service is still wonderful. Atmosphere is(in my opinion) much better. I love their new space. Not quite as intimate though, and not nearly as convenient to get to anymore. Very good food, and reasonably priced!

Magnifique! Everything top notch and authentic French. A must for every visit to Paris. Although the address is in Monmartre, it not«up the hill» near Sacre Coeur. It’s a short walk from the Abesses Metro station. So delicious!
