Dirty little place.
What were the problems?
–No elevator
–tight staircase that was very dark even during the day, the carpet had to be over 20 years old.
–In the room the toilet seat cover was broken, there was a hole in the wall covered with raw plywood, the hot water in the sink didn’t work, the toilet paper holder was broken, one of the the legs on the kids bed was broken so the bed was tilted, and the phone didn’t work.
–the chamber maids were very rude, and kept opening the door both mornings and complaining that they couldn’t clean the room.
–The neighborhood was also scary. When you walk out the front door you had to go straight across the street. It just didn’t feel safe even in the day time.
Why spend this type of money when there are probably a thousand hotels in Paris and this one must be at the bottom of the heap?
Worst experience in Europe ever!
