Stayed in Paris for 6 nights with a large group of college students. The front desk was always very helpful and surprisingly not very annoyed with us with our inability to speak French, being extremely loud at late hours, or when asking them to order us pizza at 2 in the morning. The hotel provides umbrellas which is nice because it rained half the days I was in Paris. The hotel is also located next to the metro echo his convenient but if you would rather walk everywhere it’s a little slow by foot traffic, about a half hour away from the notre dame and maybe a little more than an hour to the Eiffel Tower

Paris is expensive. If you’re like me, you probably want to be spending all your cash on delicious things to eat, fun things to do, and your lady(because you don’t really bring anything else to the table). So check the Citadines out. It’s not only affordable, but it comes with a little kitchen as well. We didn’t do much cooking, but having a fridge means you can get yourself some breakfasty things at a nearby grocer and then you’re only eating out 6 or 7 meals a day, as opposed to 8 or 9. It’s clean and sunny, the shower works and the bed is decently comfortable. There’s wi/fi in the lobby and an ethernet cable in the room. It’s located in the Marais, which I love. And since the rate is not too bad at all, I’d definitely recommend it. Godspeed.

We stayed here recently on a long weekend in Paris after being placed here by Delta Vacations(we spent miles), and for the price, it was great. You should know that for better or worse, it is not a typical aged European hotel — it seems to be relatively new, and it’s a very modern-style lobby that I would equate with a Courtyard hotel in the U.S. The rooms are not huge by any means, but they’re also a little bigger than you might expect for a budget hotel in Paris. Ours had a bed alcove, room for a TV stand and a large writing desk, a small kitchenette«room», and a fairly large bathroom(again, by cheaper European standards). The staff speak many languages, there’s free wired and wireless Internet, and there’s an available continental breakfast(though at 12 or 14 Euro, I don’t think it’s worth it when there are plenty of cafes nearby). Maid service is optional and costs more, which was fine for us — we weren’t staying long enough to require fresh linens, and not having to worry about when the maid wants to get in while you’re on vacation is kind of freeing. The location is good — it’s not terribly near to many classic tourist attractions(unless you count the Opera and the Bastille Place), but the Breguet Sabin metro stop is across the street, and Bastille(a short walk away) connects to even more lines. It’s about a 20 minute stroll south to the river and the Latin Quarter, and Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame, etc, would be only another ten minutes or so. A short walk to the northwest is the charming market area of Enfants Rouges, and to the southwest is Les Rosiers — our favorite part of Paris and home to some of the world’s best falafel, believe it or not — the Hotel de Ville, and, beyond that, Les Halles. Overall, if you’re on a budget yet don’t want a dingy closet of a room, I’d strongly recommend this place in Paris.

We’re staying here with parents and it is fabulous — room is clean and comes with a kitchen, dishwasher and half the price of staying in a real«Hotel» Paris is pretty expensive and the idea of being to able to buy breakfast and dinner at the monoprix and eat in your room is not only fun but is ¼ of the price. Decent Chablis and Bordeaux are around 6 or 7 Euros — the bread is out of this world — just watch out for the Americans and the unpasteurized cheese. Bastille has great connections for the metro and there is even a Metro — Breguet Sabin that is directly outside the building. The place is clean — free internet in the roo although their wireless is only available in the lobby. If you’re thinkingof coming to Paris and staying with close friends or family — I cannot recommend Citadines — and this location highly enough!
