Berthillon

It was nice to grab a cone while strolling around the island visiting the little shops.

Rich, creamy ice cream or refreshing sorbet? We got both.
Needed a little help from the internet to choose my flavor b/​c the menu is, of course, in French. However, the man working the window spoke English.
The line is ridiculous, but you’re already in Paris… so why not?

There is nothing like enjoying a creamy Berthillion ice cream on Il St Louis. I always like to purchase the world famous ice cream and walk down the southern side of the island and sit on the benches down by the water and enjoy the boats going by with the backdrop of Notre Dame cathedral.
The ice cream itself comes in a wide variety of flavours and is extra creamy and delicious. This is a must whenever visiting Paris, even in the cold winter months!

Allerdings kostet die Kugel 3 Euro, zwei kosten 4,50 Euro. Noch ein Hinweis: Ich musste diesen Platz anlegen, da er in Qype nicht hinterlegt war. Es gibt noch einen weiteren Berthillon auf dieser Insel, wobei dieser selbst im ADAC-​Reiseführer als das beste Eis in Paris angegeben ist.
