This place was good for a quick bite. I was impressed the waiter took a six person order and never write anything down.

The omelette here was really good. We had the one that comes with everything inside: ham, cheese, potato, onion and tomato. It was really good. Not far from the Eiffel Tower.

This was the second place I ever ate at in Paris, when I visited for the first time last summer. I walked from Les Invalides to the Eiffel Tower and stopped here for a bite to eat since it was so close. I’ve been looking for this bistro for months and couldn’t find it until I looked back on some photos and zoomed in on the menu a guy was holding up in the background. Now I don’t regret having my friend take a photo of me with the food! The food: I ordered the boeuf bourguignon with Bordeaux special for 15 euros while my friend ordered some sort of chicken fried steak special. I thoroughly enjoyed my boeuf bourguignon but drank only about a third of my wine because I’m not much of a wine drinker. The only complaint I have is that my wine glass was clearly used before since it had lipstick on it. I wouldn’t have noticed it if my friend hadn’t pointed it out. Our waiter quickly brought me another glass, but I can’t be sure if he didn’t just wipe it with a towel. So I docked half a star for that. The service: Our waiter was nice and we got our check promptly when we asked. My entire time in Paris, I never received bad or rude service even though I’m an American. Atmosphere: We sat at a two-person table outside. It was early August so it was hot during the day and it cooled down at night. It was still relatively warm when we had dinner. Most patrons sat outside. I think someone was smoking a cigarette nearby, so I docked half a star for that. Payment: I’m pretty sure we paid with cash so we wouldn’t have to pay an international transaction fee. Bottom line: I’d come back here for a bite to eat near the Eiffel Tower, at least for the memories.

The food was disgusting; we order lamb dinner , Overcooked and tasted like was week old. We were told that lamb tastes like that and when I said to take it back, I was told if I want it take it to go They still charged me but beside the point… this is the worst food I had in Paris Be aware tourists… don’t eat there

The food here is wonderful. I took a Parisian acquaintances advice and ordered from the specials menu. She indicated that I simply couldn’t go wrong; she was absolutely right. I ordered the veal special with potatoes, and green beans. It was amazing. I was surprised at the portions as it was lunch. This place definitely gives you your money’s worth. The desserts looked equally as good, but I was full beyond capacity, so I ordered a lemon tart from their bakery for an evening treat. The service was fast & efficient. This place is quaint and gets really busy, so be prepared for close seating quarters. It’s totally worth it.

0⁄5AMERICANSBEWARE First and foremost, I want to stress the fact that I came to this city paying little to no attention to the stereotypes regarding French people against Americans. Things like, «the French don’t like/are rude to Americans» yadah, yadah, yadah, garbage. Well it all changed today. After two days in Paris, everything went well until I walked into this establishment within close proximities to the Eiffel Tower. It all started fine, the waiter seated us and took our order. We got the food and our drinks(let me just add, the food was less than mediocre and the beer I ordered was warm) and we proceeded to eat our meal. After finishing our meal I asked the same waiter for the check and he gave me the ok that he understood. Here’s were the issues began. After waiting over 25 minutes and observing the waiter, the manager/«owner», and the rest of the staff attend graciously the non-Americans, I patiently waited for my check. After 30 minutes of my wife and I waiting, decided to address the issue to the manager«waiter». After catching his attention, with a less than professional tone(to say the least) he rudely interrupted me mid-phrase and said to me, verbatim«wait». Shocked by the tone and reply, I asked again. This«owner» bolted straight at me and said«what, what do you want?» in a very disrespectful voice. After taking so much, I lost my temper and addressed him the same way. I then proceeded to explain the situation to him and his only reply was«was it me, was it me?». After a few back and forths between the«owner» and I he ended up giving me the check. After everything was set and done, the waiter had the edacity to give me advice when I want the check. Verbatim: «next time you really want the check, I would advice you to go to the counter for it». Here’s my take: these people really fall perfectly under the stereotypical French. If you end up going to Paris and happen to be an American, stay away, you might be disrespected by the«owner». By the way, the«owner» is the short, bald, white complected, petite guy. From one American to another, «they don’t like our kind». Be advised!

Had a great time here. I would give 3.5 stars if possible. Staff was very friendly and the bistro has a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Food was good and wine was well priced. If you are looking for something quick by the Eiffel Tower definitely worth stopping in.

While convenient, the food was mediocre and not at all what we would have expected. A shame. Wish we had ignored our hunger and kept walking a little further to some of the better bistros.

Not bad considering it’s in a touristy area. Onion soup is different from what one would usually expect, and very salty, but the Croque Madame is good. Prices aren’t too terrible, but still pretty expensive considering the location. Good for a quick bite if you’re very hungry.

Delicious pastries and a really nice ambiance. Reasonably priced little café near the Eiffel Tower, which is a nice find.

I messed up the rest day of our Jules Vern reservation so we ate here. Nothing special in Paris, but this sidewalk café is nice, reasonably priced, and friendly. The outside seating views the tower and you can’t beat the location. I thought the price was good.
