We found this quaint place by accident on the way back to our hotel from the Louvre. There are three cafes on this same corner. We checked out all their menus and decided on this one for its variety and the fact that my husband loves pâté and their special of the day appetiser was pâté. They had a fixed price special offer that included a starter and an entre or an entre and a dessert for about $ 15 Euros. The waiter suffered a few sentences of our French and answered in perfect English. This pace was so welcoming. They have a really good beer on draft which we’d never heard of before «Oldarki». The waiter recommended it, based on what we told him we liked. He was right. We had a steak and a chicken tika. Both were excellent. I had a starter which was described as raw garden vegetables. It was tomato, butter lettuce, carrot, cucumber and beet root. a nice small salad appetiser. The food was so good, we found ourselves back the following day on our way back to the hotel. We stopped in for that beer and ended up having another full dinner. This time the dessert was the suggestion of the waiter and was an éclair — so good. The following day they were close for Mother’s day as we headed back to the hotel, s o we ate at one of the other places. Monday we stopped in for a snack and to say goodbye, with another beer and this time for homemade gelato /sorbet. I highly recommend this place. service is really helpful. They speak several languages, French, English, Italian, and German. The food is fresh and tastes out of this world delicious. prices are reasonable for Paris and the area.

Ptit resto sympa à deux pas des halles. Plats du jour frais et bons. Formule entrée + plat ou plat + dessert à 15 eur. Vin sympa et jus de orange pressé. Service sympathique. Dessert bons mais légèrement trop sucrés. Bref resto à conseiller
