The food at Chez Pierrot is fantastic. I had a salad and fried frog legs with rice, and a few glasses of Chardonnay. They gave me the legs of 11 frogs! It was amazing– a lot of garlic and a lot of butter. I highly recommend this dish. If you’ve never had frog legs, this is the place to try them. They taste like chicken. They’re like little chicken wings. I don’t remember what the Chardonnay was, but being a wine connoisseur, it was well balanced with mellow oak, had no off flavors, and was a steal at 7E per glass. Half of the time, for 7E, you get a headache. Not this time. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Go!

Awesome restaurant. My wife, son, and I were trekking through Paris from the Marais to the Eiffel Tower with a stroller in hand. We used Tripadvisor to identify a restaurant with good and consistent review and Chez Pierrot came up when we were passing through the side streets. It is a sweet and romantically lit place with burgundy red velvet chairs and benches, candlelights, and red check tablecloth. English speaking and friendly owner/waitress was helpful in menu selection and accommodating, by making a buttery basmati rice for Emiliano. He loved it! He ate 75% of his plate. My wife had a fried goat cheese in pastry with an artichoke and fruity topping masterpiece that was crunchy, creamy, sweet, sour, salty… so well balanced. I had a foie gras, smoked duck, crunchy bacon cubes, arugula, and a secret dressing that make this appetizer salad epic. Anyways, for the main course, wife had chicken in a tomato ratatouille sauce with moroccan spice. It was exotic tasting. Yum. I had a tenderloin in red wine reduction and seasoned potato wedges and sea salt. On to dessert, i had an assorted dessert of 6 which included crème brulé, pistachio ice cream, chocolate cake… so many to recall… by this time i was in a food coma. Dont get me wrong, portions was just right… i was just overwhelmed with such deliciousness. Wife has a Strawberry cake… That was sinful… You must try this place out. Great place and price was great. 25 € to 42 € for set dinner. Love it.

Neighborhood restaurant without the tourist crowd. Intimate place that seats 12 – 15 tables max. Service is prompt and the food is high quality at a reasonable price. My wife had the duck while I tired the Beef Bordeaux. Reasonably priced, high quality food and service. Located on a side street away from the busy areas where people are just seeing and want to be see.

Traditionnel ! Courrez y.

Petit bistrot bonne ambiance !

A suivre.
